Corn Straw Total Mix Dietary Supplementation of Bacillus Subtilis-Enhanced Growth Performance of Lambs by Favorably Modulating Rumen Bacterial Microbiome

چکیده
In this experiment, B. subtilis was added to pelletized straw-based total mixed ration, and the rumen microbial diversity of house-fed Duhan hybrid sheep compared. Ten 3-month-old weaned lambs were separated into two groups fattened for 80 days using a single-factor trial design. During fattening period, control experiment fed with same except that group supplemented subtilis. The results showed addition could significantly increase daily weight gain, abundance, lamb. Among them, proportion flora such as Bacteroidetes increased, producing more acetate, iso-butyrate, butyrate, obtaining higher energy efficiency.

Effect of Feeding Dietary Treated Wheat Straw with Urea and Whey on Fattening Lambs Performance
This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of feeding treated wheat straw with urea and whey on fattening lambs performance. About 4.5 kg urea and 1.5 kg salt were dissolved in 40 L water and mixed with 30 L of whey. The solution was spread over 100 kg chopped wheat straw. Thirty two male lambs were randomly divided into four feeding groups to compare performance with diets based on barley...
متن کاملEffects of dietary Bacillus subtilis on growth performance and immune responses, in rainbow trout, Oncorhynchus mykiss (Walbaum, 1792)
Four hundred and eighty five rainbow trout (76 ± 6.44 g mean weight) were acclimated to laboratory conditions and then randomly divided into four groups of tanks in triplicate. The first group (Group 1) was fed on a commercial diet (control) without Bacillus subtilis supplementation. The second, third and fourth groups (Group 2, Group 3 and Group 4, respectively) were given a diet supplemented ...

متن کاملCorn supplementation of lambs grazing alfalfa.
We investigated the effects of supplementing Rambouillet x Suffolk wether lambs grazing irrigated 'Cimarron' alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.) with three levels (0 [C0], 123 [C123], and 247 [C247] g of DM.lamb-1.d-1) of cracked corn. Each treatment group also received 190 g of a supplement designed to prevent bloat. Replicated pastures (three per treatment) grown on a fine, mixed, thermic Torretic P...
متن کاملEffects of Saccharomyces cerevisiae Supplementation and Anhydrous Ammonia Treatment of Wheat Straw on In-situ Degradability and, Rumen Fermentation and Growth Performance of Yearling Lambs
The effects of Saccharomyces cerevisiae supplementation (6.6×10(8) cfu) and anhydrous ammonia treatment (3%) of wheat straw (WS) were investigated on in-situ dry matter (DM) degradability, and on rumen fermentation and growth performance of lambs. Rumen-fistulated Menemen sheep fed a diet with and without live yeast were used to assess the DM degradability characteristics of WS and ammonia-trea...
